Pass You Driving School(“we”, “us”, “our”) is committed to protecting your personal data. This policy explains what information we collect when you use this website or submit an enquiry, how we use it, and your rights under UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

1. What data we collect

When you submit an enquiry through our contact form, we collect:

  • Your full name
  • Mobile number
  • Home address and postcode
  • Whether you have passed your theory test
  • Your driving experience (hours)
  • What you would like help with
  • Your availability for lessons
  • A photo of your driving licence (provisional or full)
  • Any other information you choose to include

We do not use cookies for tracking or advertising. We do not collect any data from visitors who browse the site without submitting a form.

2. Why we collect it

We collect this information solely to:

  • Assess and respond to your driving lesson enquiry
  • Verify your identity and confirm you hold a valid provisional or full UK driving licence before lessons begin
  • Plan lessons suited to your experience level and availability

The legal basis for processing your data is legitimate interests (running our driving school business) and, where you have ticked the consent box, consent. You may withdraw consent at any time by contacting us.

3. How we use your data

Your enquiry details are emailed directly to our instructor. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any third party for marketing purposes.

We use Resend (resend.com) to deliver your enquiry email to us. Resend acts as a data processor on our behalf and processes your data only to send the email. Resend is GDPR-compliant and a Data Processing Agreement is in place.

4. How long we keep your data

If your enquiry does not lead to lessons, we will delete your details within 30 days.

If you become a student, we will retain your details for the duration of your lessons and for up to 12 months afterwards, in case you wish to return. Your driving licence photo will be deleted as soon as your identity has been verified.

5. Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to:

  • Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
  • Rectification — ask us to correct inaccurate data
  • Erasure— ask us to delete your data (“right to be forgotten”)
  • Restriction — ask us to limit how we use your data
  • Objection — object to our processing of your data
  • Portability — request your data in a portable format

6. Security

Your data is transmitted over an encrypted HTTPS connection. The enquiry form includes protections against spam and automated abuse. Access to received enquiries is limited to our instructor only.

7. Complaints

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you have the right to complain to the UK’s data protection regulator:

8. Changes to this policy
